I believe that my soon to be Ex has hacked into my email hotmail account a
couple of times. I have since changed my pass and secret question to
something he would never get but....my question is, I know that this is a
felony in my state but I need evidence other than him saying he has my
emails.

Is there a way to get the IP addresses that have accessed my account? This
would show his address at home or work, right? How do I obtain that
information?

Also, I received an "annonymous" email last night - are these truly
untracable? It contained my emails that I know he has hacked into. But is
there a way to find out who really sent it?

You need to contact hotmail with your questions.

Very true, Tom and I did that and it helped when my hotmail account was
accessed and fraudulently used in the past but a lawyer may unfortunately be
needed as well --- sad to say.

First of all, you will need a lawyer. There are certain tracing programs and
ways of telling but depending how technical your ex is then your ex probably
has set up phony trails to throw people off guard. Unfortunately, it is not
too hard to do that in this day and age. I will leave my comments there for
now and let any others post if they desire to post. Have a nice day. I have
suffered identity theft on 2 separate occasions now so I can somewhat feel
your pain.

It may not be a qualified hack at all, it might be that you have utilized a
system ( PC) that has key logger on it and made available your username and
password to the key logger owner or implementer. Maybe an inquiry to trace
where was it last accessed or what was done within your e-mail.
