hello,
i have installed the client security on my computers in the office and
started working with the software, however, after a week on some of my
computers the definitions stopped updating automaticly and even after
pressing the "check for updates..." button i get - "no new definitions
available" while other copmuters are up to date and get the latest
definitions.

i have to download the mpam-fe.exe file and run it manually on each station.

it happens both on vista and xp stations...
what can be the cause and how do i fix it?

Check the System Event Viewer log [Source: WinDefend] and/or the
WindowsUpdate.log [located in %windir%] for possibly, helpful clues.

What's the installed AV on the systems that can not update WinDef ?

Do you've deployed a WSUS server? Are your clients still receiving Windows
updates through WSUS?

Regards,
Dieter
