If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I have installed NTbackup and have been able to schedule backups. The problem
I have since the installation is, in Explorer/ My Docs, if I try to move a
file/folder
or copy to a folder I get the error message: "File not accessable. Access
denied". This applies only to the folders/files that I have scheduled in
backup.
Is there a way I can access files/folders in Explorer and continue to us
Ntbackup?

Installed NTBackup? I presume you're using XP Home, then. Always good to
mention your OS and SP level.

Where were these files/folders before you installed NTBackup? That shouldn't
have changed anything with permissions. I presume you're using NTFS, right?
Who are you logging in as when you try to do this, and does that account
have permissions to these folders? You may need to take ownership as
Administrators and reset permissions.
