I already run AVGFree, Spybot and Adaware (all up to date free versions) and
keep pretty well up to date with XP(SP2) updates, but I'm becoming
increasingly concerned about personal info (card details, banking info etc)
being hijacked by keyloggers.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a (preferably free, or low cost)
program which will detect and/or block keyloggers?

Thanks, David.

There are many tools available on the network (Antispy,keylogger-hunter,
SpyCop etc.) but
you really cannot fully rely on such software.

:)
I recommend you to try Privacy Keyboard - it was ranked #1 in
www.anti-keylogger.org comparison table, has a free trial, protects
against 'tailor-made' keyloggers and has a very user-friendly interface.
You can find a link to its donload on anti-keylogger.org

Considering the need for software keyloggers to use certain APIs, the
no-signature approach is the only sensible option. Interestingly, common AV
software doesn't use this, despite my numerous requests - CA and Symantec
both were "researching", while their Av products couldn't care less about a
key logger written in Visual Basic in a day (good miniproject for a junior
developer!)

But $100+ is a bit too much IMO...
