If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
See if you can open any security policy such as local or domain controller.
Also make sure that you are trying to open such as a domain administrator
and that the pdc fsmo is running and has network connectivity. Run the
support tools dcdaig, netdiag, and gpotool on your domain controllers
starting with the pdc fsmo and check the logs using Event Viewer to see if
anything pertinent is reported. Check to make sure that permissions to the
sysvol folder are correct if problems persist and that you can access to the
sysvol share. The link below may help. --- Steve
