I am a McAfee subsciber but also use Spybot to run a check.
Last Saturday it brought up 3 files that posed a security risk. They all
began:
Windows Security Centre

Then after the first it had Disabled, after the second Disable Notify and
after the third Firewall Disable Notify.

I have checked the McAfee setting and they are all operational and Spybot
blocked these items, but what do they mean and can I be sure that the system
is working ok?

Thanks

When you installed McAfee, it gave you the option to use the McAfee
Security Center (or whatever they call it) instead of the XP SP2
Security Center. You said "yes" so McAfee disabled the XP Security
Center and you are using McAfee's. Spybot doesn't know that McAfee
disabled it, so it is just letting you know that the XP Security Center
is disabled.

Why does Spybot-S&D flag changes in the Windows SecurityCenter? -
