If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I am running Windows XP Professional. I have been asked a question about
3-DES encryption and if we support this? Any help would be appreciated.

Most definitely. If you enable the option that PA Bear gave a link to beware
that you may see failure of access to secure https websites. The link below
explains more. If you are using at least XP SP1 then by default EFS will use
AES with a 256 but key length that is more secure than 3DES though you can
use 3DES if regulations require it. By default ipsec policy [Windows
2000/XP] will try to use 3DES but can fall back to DES. You can modify an
ipsec policy to use ony 3DES. --- Steve
