If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options

It might be. Couldn't tell you without knowing. How about this?
Open IE, click on tools, options, content, auto-complete, and see if the
names/passwords are set to be kept? At the forums when you log in check the
option to "remember me" if it's there.
