I have attempted to download several programs from MS web site and other
sites and I get the message: "Windows cannot access the specified device,
path, or file, You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this
item." I am the administrator (and only user), and I have the genuine
Microsoft Windows permission. I note that the download does happen (I can
find it in the temp folder) but when I click on RUN the above message pops
up. My OS is XP- Home and it runs on a Dell 9150.
-- Any suggestion as to why and how to correct would be appreciated.
.........Thanks CinciDave
