Hi,

I have been playing with Windows Server 2003 (pre-SP1) in college. I have
setup a domain and added my laptop to it but ran into a major problem.
Unfortunately I hadn't configured the Domain Security Policies correctly and
so interactive logon has been disabled for all users accounts - including
local.

What do I need to do to enable users to log into the laptop and is it
possible to get these new policies to replicate down to the machine without
having to login?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dunner

Dunner,

Try two things,

1) login as administrator locally and with the domain and edit your security
policy to allow login locally for the accounts you wish.

2) create local accounts the the logins as well and grant them allow login
locally
