Running OS Windows 2000 Pro:
Is it safe to delete ALL the Temp files and sub-folders in the
following folder--(including NAV?):
C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\Local Settings\Temp\....
(Most of the sub-folders and files in there are several years old,
and are duplicates found in other permanent folders--especially
anything to do with Norton/Symantec executibiles from
2002, that are now updated to v. 2006.
Also, what are the files with a large red "X" (read only files) on the
NAV files in C:\ ? Those files are from NAV 2002, and have not
been modified since then....Can they be deleted, or what?
I am successfully using Norton Antivirus 2006 for now.
