When the zero day exploit of the Backup Exec client service (two in
short order actually) hit the network, if your Backup Exec Tcp was
exposed to the world you likely were rootkitted.
Were I that intruder, leveraged in via the Backup Exec client agent
service, ie. I am running as SvcUserX, I look around and see that
there are a number of other processes running as "me", like SQL
Server, etc. I would now have a playground.
