OK. So I went to Ebay, opened a PayPal account, gave them my credit
card information, and promptly got a spoof email asking for my login
information. I did not click on the email links. I reported it to
spoof@ebay.com.

Then I bid and won an item, but had to checkout through the seller's
own website. I entered my credit card info. Then I read a post from
another bidder who said the checkout site wasn't "secure".

What does this mean? I fear it means anybody with Google could search
and find my credit card number, etc. Am I at risk?

What should I do, if anything.

If there is any doubt at all as to the security of that site, you really
only have one option.
Contact the card company and get a new number voiding the old.

Call the Credit card company and have them issue you a new card.

You should've stopped right there, Fishy, and reported Seller to Ebay admin.
