Hello !
Unfortunately ,nowadays there are many malicious softwares that can disable
or fully destroy antivirus softwares.Mr.Phillip is right about
Blackmail/Kamasutra/Nyxem worm however it is one of the hunders examples...(I
mean there are many others).
*Most* antiviruses even in 2006 products doesn't have self prevention or
even if they have , it is poor and not enough. Only Panda Software and
Kaspersky Labs (2006) products have such technologies which are quite
effenctive.
However , in your case the tools cannot be installed because there is
memory-resident malware that is automatically killing your protection.
Clean your PC before installing antivirus software.
