Good Day Board,

I'm trying for the life of me to issue myself a webserver certificate
from a CA that I just installed, but I cannot get that option going. I
get the "Basic EFS" and "User" options when I go to sumbit a request,
but none for "Webserver"

I have used the CA MMC snap-in and duplicated the web server template
that was there, but I still can not get it to show up as an option.

Can someone please direct me to a document that will show me how to get
this going.

Thanks.

You should be requesting the Web Server certificate
either from te IIS Certificate request wizard or from
the Web pages. The reason that you are failing is that
the request is for the machine, not for the current
user.

Also, it is recommended, if you are using IIS, to use
the default Web Server template, as the wizard is hard
coded to request that template, rather than a custom
template.
To request from the Web portal, Perform a request where
you paste a PKCS#10 CSR into the request. You can then
choose the WEb server template, and store the
certificate in the local machine store

In this case CA = Certificate Authority not Computer Associates.
