OK, this is driving me nuts. First I can't run EXEs from a local network
share (why oh why was this done?!?!) and now an application that I'm trying
to install that has WMF files bombs on the file copy because SP2 blocks these
now.

Question: Which reg keys turns this off?

I am not sure on the second part - have not seen, do not recognize.

On the first, just add the machine sourcing out the share to the intranet
zone
(assuming that the Intranet zone is in use at its initial settings)

When these "WMF files bombs" occur, what is the text of the error
message?
