Creating a new profile means no previous settings.
How are those transfered?
Purpose is security power user name addition only.

I will "copy/paste" all the files in the "administrator" account to my new
user account.. but
..two things are curious:
1. The documents folder has 10 gigs in it.
2. I want to use the new profile as a power user. During the initial
creation of this new user it appeared to set up as a "limited".

I'm sorry, but you really aren't giving enough information about your
computer, your setup, and what you are trying to do (end goal). Please
provide this so the people who are trying to help you don't have to
spend numerous posts teasing the information out of you. I'll give you
some examples of what I mean:

1. Operating system version? XP Pro or Home? Service Pack level?
2. Standalone computer or networked in a peer-to-peer Workgroup or
member of a domain?
3. Business computer or home computer?
4. What is your end goal in copying user accounts?

And finally, normally when you set up a default profile you do this from
a bare account - there should be no data in it.

I interpreted your first post to mean that you want to create default
user profiles but your #2 above seems to indicate that all you want to
do is copy a user account that already exists. Doesn't make sense to me
so I await your explanation.

XPPro SP2 standalone..
.. for the purpose of creating a power user account to browse securely as MS
Help suggests.
Question was how to do that with my settings from original administrator
account.
For example, there remains a huge documents file with "administrator" and my
new "poweruser" is (as you say) a "bare" account (nothing in it). Therefore
all settings and configurations (start, quickstart, email, desktop, etc) have
to be reconfigured. Am I missing something that should be obvious or is this
that compex after all (meaning all the previous settings are not easily
transferred)?
..thanx for your persistence.
