If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Most readers come with software that is required for the integration; but it
mostly depend on the solution.
Recently I tested smart card logon (natively in Windows), but instead of PIN
you had to provide fingerprints -- and this was add-on part which didn't
integrate with AD, but was installed on the client.
Main role of this add on was to unlock the read with the correct fingerprint
so that computer could access the certificate on smart card. Once it got
access to it, it could log me on to the domain using built-in features.
