Hi to all of you and thanks in advance for your attention and help
I have a computer with WXP home and the guest account activated and let
a friend to use it in my computer to check for his hotmail free email
account in IE6. The problem starts when he try to open an attached file
in the download file page: at the beginning pops up a warning window
asking if you want to save the file; if you chosse save, then
"downloading file" window changes to "obtaining file information" and
suddenly a pop up message appears from Microsoft Internet Explorer
saying that the "Internet Explorer can't open the site. the site may
not be available or can't be found. try it later". This problem doesn't
happen when the file is an image.
The situation is that those attached files CAN be opened from my
administrator own account when I allowed my friend to use it. Do you
know any special settings that I would need to change in the guest
account to permit the files to be opened for the Hotmail email accounts
from my administrator account???
