If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
The best way to do this is probably to use an application in between, so
that the users have rights to the application and the application talks to
the database. The application controls what is changed in the db. This would
probably be easier with SQL server or MSDE than with the Access JET engine.
Oh, and don't underestimate the value of hiring employees that you can trust.
