Is anyone using Windows Rights Management (WRM) for securing files? I have a
file (Front-end/Back-end Acees Database) on our network that I would like to
restrict users from having the ability to copy. I was told that if I want
them to have the ability to update the database, then they by default must
have the ability to copy the DB.

Anyone know if WRM can achieve this? Or is there another way I can do this.

thanks
Roman

The best way to do this is probably to use an application in between, so
that the users have rights to the application and the application talks to
the database. The application controls what is changed in the db. This would
probably be easier with SQL server or MSDE than with the Access JET engine.

Oh, and don't underestimate the value of hiring employees that you can trust.
