If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Sometime in the last few days approximately half the top-level folders in a
share on a W2k3 server have had a security setting Denying Read/Write access
added.
It is identified as Account Unknown, and a GUID.
The only trace of the GUID I can find in the registry is as the 11th
(presumably most recent) of 11 groups defined with respect to some GPOs.
Neither I (network admin) or the chief executive have added or modified any
GPOs in last 6 months.
Does anyone have knowledge of similar occurrence?
How can I identify an object from its' GUID?
TIA,
Newell
