If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options And alert on the event: eventtriggers.exe
(http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/eventtriggers.mspx),
or any event log monitoring software.
For the best effect, connect fire alarm to the alerting system!
