Does anybody know if 802.1x on Windows 2003 x64 is supported? In my LAN
connection properties, I don't see any Authentication tab which shows up on
Windows XP workstations.

I'm not referring to 802.1x on wireless connections but instead on wired
connections

Thank you

can you tell me why you would use a wired connection when you have a wireless
connection, it do's not make much sense to me.

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Because it's faster and more reliable (most often switched vs. always shared
in wireless).
The question was about connection security.
