If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
My Excel 2003 worked fine until I applied the 4/11 security updates.
Immediately after doing the updates, I discovered that Excel 2003 hangs when
doing a Save As. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003 three times
and have applied all updates and Excel 2003 still hangs. How do I remove the
security updates so that I can get the system back to working.

It would help if you specified what OS you're using, but Control Panel=>
Add Remove Programs=>Show Updates should get you started.

Thanks for the quick response. I am running XPSP2. I removed the 4 items
listed for the 4/11 updates and everything works fine now. So something must
be wrong with one of those updates that causes this problem.
