Just noticed this directory present on my m/c, anyone know which app. made
it ?
I Googled and found lots of posts with people talking about things found in
it but, can't spot which app. created it.
I use ZA, AVG, expired Ewido, Adaware, Syybot, multi-av.
I have been fiddling around with David H Lipmans multi-av a lot lately and,
have been playing with the individual cls's as well.

regards, Richard

Not sure. It could be a heuristic scanner temp folder of one of those anti
malware
scanners.

What files are IN that folder ?

I would take a close look at the log files your recent scans have generated,
this is not a folder created by any AV or AS scanners I am aware of.
However this folder path and name has been linked to the following trojan:
http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/trojstartpanu.html

If the files where removed by one of your previous scans you should be able
to find a reference to it in your log files. Let us know what you find.

I'll just delete it and keep an eye out for it being recreated. My first
instinct was in line with David H Lipman's suggestion that an a/v scanner
created it.
