If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options I'm not sure wether this is really a virus issue. I have seen iexplorer behave
in this way on various uninfected computers ever since the last 3 security
updates for IE. Usually some double or triple (right)clicking does the trick.
After a week, it disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared. I do not hope
this is a new MS setup (actually very old, if you remember the occasional
breaks of Netscape after an MS update) to move people away from google.
