I am seeing some messages being sent from Outlook 2007 - that I have not
created. Cannot find anything in sent messages later. OS is Windows Vista
Home Premium. Have repeatedly scanned computer with McAfee - also Trend
Secure's Online scan. Have Windows defender installed. Also Spybot Search &
Destroy, Lavasoft Ad-Aware & Spyware blaster.

About 4-5 messages get sent every so often..

Windows & office 2007 are regularly updated - automatically.

How do I find out what the problem is and remove whatever program is sending
these messages?

Thanks.

I am getting the same indication.

There is an information bar at the bottom of the Outlook screen which
shows message status - numbers of messages being received and sent.

I have just created a new message. I then pressed send. Then Outlook
2007 told me I have sent 4 messages........but there is only the one
new message in the sent folder.

Please can you advise whether this is some Microsoft 'undocumented
feature' or do I have a virus??

I am running AVG professional and Zone Alarm and neither has indicated
any sort of problem. I stopped the 'RSS feeds' earlier and those
folders are now empty.

Many thanks
