If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
i have a dial up connection and i am connected online but the microsoft
antispyware can't perform an update. i gives me a message that the update
can't connect to the internet. by the way the modem that i have is connected
on 'com3' port.

It sounds like you might have found an interesting bug but you need to
report it to the MWAS newsgroups directly here:

The General newsgroup would be a good place to start
