I keep receiving the email virus W32.Blackmal.E@mm!enc from Received:
from sun3 ([125.19.0.250]). The email address its using is mine but
I've scanned my computer and no virus's were detected. I've also
noticed similiar emails from people I work with.

The subject lines are:
Fwd: image.jpg
the file
Fwd: Photo
Fw: DSC-00465.jpg

All of them are about 350k to 500k in size.

Is my computer sending these? are other people getting similiar
messages?

Tia,
Craig

I think you will find that this malware vuses a LONG file name such as...

"DSC-00465.jpg .exe"

Where there are *many* spaces bwtween the .jpg and the .exe extension.

I doubt you sent this to yourself I am sure that the source of this email virus
is using
your email address as the sending address to obscure the true source of the
sender. This is
often the case of email internet worms, viruses.

This is the CME-24
http://cme.mitre.org/data/list.html

From the above Common Malware Enumeration (CME) list, you can find the URLs of
and then read
the library descriptions of the malware by many anti malware vendors.

Clicked too soon :-(

The cahnces are high that someone you know is infected with this email virus and
that's why
you are receiving it continuously and using your email address.

After that made your colleagues/friends also make sure their PCs are well
protected.Make them perform the instructions here

to clean their machines . If you suspect an infection , you can also go
