Hi,
my problem is that when I call .exe files downloaded from internet, I
have the message: "*.exe is not a win32 valid application". It happens
with all and only the files downloaded from internet. An other strange
thing is that after a while I am connected to internet, I receive the
message of reboot ( the Sasser-like message!) and after 60 seconds
there is the shutdown. I've tried with removal tools for Sasser, but
they haven't work! I've formatted two times, but the problem remains.
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advice!

I work in assistive technology with my local school district. I have seen
this when I try to install older software on WinXP machines, the issue is
with the way the processors are designed which is not compatible with some
older software. The other option is that the download got messed up and now
the exe is not valid

Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, and in the "Temporary Internet =
files"
box, click "Delete files" and confirm the deletion. Then try the =
