| Hi David,
|
| Yes, I can handle doing the registry....
|
| Thanks,
|

That was quick :-)

Examine...
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

'Shell' should be; explorer.exe

Depending on the OS version and the Windows Root folder is; C:\WINDOWS or
C:\WINNT

'Userinit' should be; C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\Userinit.exe,

or

'Userinit' should be; C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\Userinit.exe,

NOTE:...
The "," must exist after Userinit.exe with notthing after ","

This is the key that needs to be deleted...

Delete explorer and iexplore.exe as you see it follow the directory in the
registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File
Execution Options\explorer.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File
Execution Options\iexplorer.exe

Delete this entries please as they are in the location I would state in the
registry
