If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options Hi ML
You can run the Microsoft System Configuration Utility by:
1) Clicking "Start" and selecting "Run..."
2) In the Run window typing "msconfig" and clicking the OK button.
3) This will start the utility you can then click the "Selective Startup"
option and untick all the boxes to get an minimal setup once you reboot so
you can do a scan without the malware loaded.
*Note: once you have finished you will need to run this utility again to
return the system to the normal boot mode.
Alternatively you can hit F8 at the black startup screen and select the Safe
Boot option from the start menu then do the scans from there.
I hope that helps and let us know how you get on.
