If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Does anyone have experience with ad-aware pro. I like the idea of real time
spyware blocking but I don't want 2 antivirus programs on my computer.

Ad-aware Pro is not an anti virus application. It is anti adware/spyware.

What is the anti virus application that is resident on the PC already ?

Although Ad-aware pro 2008 is primarily an anti spyware application it now
includes an anti-virus program. My primary antivirus is Norton 360.

Dump Norton and a better AV application such as Kaspersky or NOD32.

My understanding is they will happily co-exist with Adware-Pro.
