If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options How about checking the disk for errors (chkdsk from cmdcons - or graphically
from the disk-properties menu). 9 out of 10 that's sufficient! I wonder why
and when they stopped running that automatically after a system crash, but I
have not seen it for quite a while.
