While I'm downloading Microsoft Anti-spyware, window Trojan c:\windows
Isaaa.exe pop-up and asked for permission. As I'm not sure whether this is
helpful or harmful to my computer, I blocked it. Since it pop-up three time,
I clicked to choose it always block.
From that moment onwards, I receive ['Microsoft Anti-spyware notice" on the
screen saying that Microsoft Anti-spyware has blocked a possible Windows
Trojan C:\Windows Isass.exe from being run. Name: Isass.exe
File path:C:\Windows\Isass.exe
This program was blocked based on your previous input.]
Above mentioned notice always appears in every three seconds, everytime I
switch on my computer (my home computer). I made re-start again and again
also it doesn't work. Problem still occurs.

My computer is compaq with P 4, windows xp and norton firewall 2003 loaded.

Please advise what to do?

You do indeed have an infected machine. You mention "norton firewall
2003" and I assume that means you have some form of Norton Antivirus
installed. However, the 2003 version is obsolete and if you allowed
your subscription to lapse and do not have updated virus definitions,
it is useless.

First scan with either Sysclean or Dave Lipman's Multi-AV:
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#TrendMicros_Sysclean
http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm - how to use Dave Lipman's Multi-AV
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe - Multi-AV download

After you have done the initial scan with one of these first-line
antivirus tools, replace your outdated antivirus with a current version
program, update its definitions, and do a thorough scan in Safe Mode.

Then continue with general malware removal:

If this procedure seems too daunting - and there is no shame in
admitting that - take the machine to a professional computer repair
shop for cleaning (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

Download MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL --
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe

To use this utility, perform the following...
Execute; Multi_AV.exe { Note: You must use the default folder C:\AV-CLS }
Choose; Unzip
Choose; Close

Execute; C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT
{ or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS }

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go
through your
FireWall to allow it to download the needed AV vendor related files.

C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT -- { or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS}
This will bring up the initial menu of choices and should be executed in Normal
Mode.
This way all the components can be downloaded from each AV vendor's web site.
The choices are; Sophos, Trend, McAfee, Kaspersky, Exit this menu and Reboot the
PC.

You can choose to go to each menu item and just download the needed files or you
can
download the files and perform a scan in Normal Mode. Once you have downloaded
the files
needed for each scanner you want to use, you should reboot the PC into Safe Mode
[F8 key
during boot] and re-run the menu again and choose which scanner you want to run
in Safe
Mode. It is suggested to run the scanners in both Safe Mode and Normal Mode.

When the menu is displayed hitting 'H' or 'h' will bring up a more comprehensive
PDF help
file. http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm

Hi David,

Thank you so much for your advice. The problem has been completely solved. It
is amazing and excellent AV I ever seen.
However, I could not do exctly what you said. I did Nomal mode scan with
McAfee first. And I clicked for reboot the computer. It was hung. I tried
again and clicked F8 key during restart. But my PC never run in safe mode. So
the next day, I scaned with Kaspersky in normal mode. And then clicked reboot
the PC followed by F8 key. My PC restart instead of running in safe mode.

During scaning time, one pop up often appears and saying that spyware and
adware are damaging your computer. Please click OK [rectangular box ok
inside]. I ignored and clicked 'x'. I clicked 'x' as it appeared so many time.

So I got worries that without doing safe mode scan could harm my computer or
not?

Please advice.
Again, thank a lot.

Also thank everybody who spent time for suggestions to me.

There are many reasons a PC won't run in Safe Mode. The majority have nothing
to do with
malware.

The reason for running an anti virus or anti malware scanner in Safe Mode is
that a limited
version of the OS is used and thus the scanner tends to have a higher degree of
efficacy in
removing malware.

If your Trojan is gone and subsequent reports show the PC is clean, don't worry.
