Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to get all the Windows XP patches in
one download. Has anybody put it as a compressed version somewhere.
Please let me know as it would save a lot of time.

Thanks,

Amit

Hi Amit
1. Your Q would fair better in Win XP general, basic or newusers.
This is security/virus.
2. Which set of updates do you want - after SP1 there is SP2 - after SP2
there are some 50 or 60 or more individual updates according to your system
set-up.
3. If it is the post SP2 you want, then there is NO SP3 yet - it might come
but not this side of Xmas.
4. There may be sites where you can get a 'block' download but it is always
recommended that you get security/critical updates from MS only.
5. If it is post SP2, I would recommend you look through the windowsupdates
group as well to see what problem and fixes there are - and there have been
a few over the last two months.
Without knowing which updates you want - cant help further.
As suggested above, post in a more appropriate group with the info required
so that you can get the advice.

According to Microsoft site, the Windows XP Service Pack 3 is scheduled
for the middle of 2007. I still wonder if Vista will make the November
and January deadlines.
