On my login screen I have two admin accounts, the account I use, and
"guest". Today for the first time inder my name on the account I use
there was a second line that said "1 unread mail message".
I've never seen that before, so I assume something got into my system.
Anyone seen this before?

This isn't malware. It is just something you haven't seen before. Go into
Outlook Express
and check your mail.

You can shut this off with TweakUI, if you don't like it. (under
Logon>unread mail)
Find TweakUI at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Thanks! David, you were right, I just never noticed it before.

I'll second that, its been bugging me how to turn this off as it keeps
saying I have 94 unread emails, even though when I go into Outlook 2003 and
Outlook Express I have none.
