Have not tried them all, but have been happy with AVAST for
several years now.

AntiVir consistently does better at catching the malware as well as Exploit code.

When I submitted a VML in HTML Exploit last week, AVG and Avast failed to
recognize it while
AntiVir did. I understand that AVG now recognizes this Exploit but I have not
tested nor
received feedback on whether Avast catches that Exploit.

I'll check it out. Do you know if there is any problem with
having more than one installed but only one set to protect
and being able to manually run a scan with either? Do you
need to disable the other while scanning?

I also run free versions of SpyBot S&D, Ad-Aware Personal
se, Spyware Blaster, Windows Defender and Zone Alarm
firewall.
