i am handling the network of 100 PC's with Windows Xp , 2000 O/S.

we have both Windows 2000 & windows NT server.


Many of the time suddenly network become very slow. All network related

task slow down & network shows like bottle neck condition.


Because of some virus in any PC in the N/W.


Is there any utiility or software available by using that i can
analyze, from which ip address most of redundant broadcasting
producing.


if u know any utility or software. plz help me on this regard.

What anti virus software is on the servers and workstations ?

Do you keep the servers and client PCs updated? What sort of activity
have you noticed on the network? Any ports in particular? Is it to a
specific IP address? Is it communications particularly within your
network or does it appear to be communications to the outside Internet.
