This is a difficult one to answer, what do you mean by "critical"?
If, by this, you mean "prolific" then the F-Secure page below can provide
you with a top ten breakdown by hour, day or month:
http://www.f-secure.com/virus-info/statistics/

But this really only indicates how many were detected in the wild not what
damage they did.
