receive emails from Thunderbied, but can't get on the internet with IE OR
MOZILLA. I can ping Yahoo and Goggle from Dos but get nothing using the
browsers.

Do you have a custom lmhosts file in windows\system32\drivers\etc? Its
either that or perhaps a DNS issue.

I have more info on this problem. I can get to some sites but not others.
Example I can't get to msn.com or microsft.com comcast.com or yahoo.com but I
can get to all my banking web sites I can get to the login page for games for
yahoo but it won't load the next page. It seems to be hit or miss.

Clear out your Web cache. In IE7 thats Tools - Options - General - Browsing
History - Delete (you want Temporary Internet files, at least)

Once done, you've got a level playing field. If some pages resolve, but not
others the same advice I had before still applies: do you have a custom
lmhosts file? If not, there are likely DNS issues. Try a different DNS
server, if possible

I have no Imhost files that I could find, I did a search using explore. I
deleted temp files, cookies and history. I'm not to familar with doing much
in the DNS area. I was in the process reading help about DNS.
