I'm sorry to have posted to the wrong newsgroup, I didn't realise there was
a Firewall group until I had sent my original message, I will go there in
future.

I was not expecting an answer to my specific problem here as I have been
sending messages to the ZA forum but unfortunately not getting any replies.
What I was really trying ascertain now, is there so much difference in the
specific installation instructions given out by ZA forum from the normal
installation of the programme I followed, by just doing a normal
installation would that have caused my problem, if so I have to try and
uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks you for your help I will now read your information sent here and try
and determine what my next step should be. Thank You.

Final follow up, I got an answer from ZA forum and apparently you can't use
ZA Free with ICS which I gather is Internet Computer Sharing.

Thanks

Thanks for reporting the solution. Since you hadn't mentioned that you
were trying to use ICS (instead of the better solution of a router if
you have broadband), no one reading your posts would have been able to
guess at the answer. It's good that you've put the whole picture
together for the archives.

So? As bad as any unpatched vulnerability is: is any of these remotely
exploitable with the Windows-Firewall enabled? Is any of these in the
Windows-Firewall itself? If not: why do you believe this would prove
your point?
