Norton says that I have a Trojan on my pc. They couldn't clean it, but put
it in quarantine. When I went to the quarantine file, it asked if I wanted
to delete it from the system.

Can it be removed if I delete it from quarantine, or is there another step I
should take?

Helen

Yes. Remove it or have NAV do it.

It depends on you,if you want ,remove /delete it manually or with Norton.
But be careful which files remove.

It's been in quarantine for a few weeks now, so, if I'm correct, it doesn't
have any necessary files that I may need if I delete it. Am I correct in
this?

Helen:

Trojans are NOT OS or software files and the files associated with Trojans then
are not
needed and should be deleted. You have kept it/them too long already.
