If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options

i get this message everytime I try to update Symantec AntiVirus
Corporate Edition Client, my definitions are almost 3 weeks old now.
not sure what is going wrong, i tried to re-install the application but
no luck..

can someone help here ?

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Try the "Intelligent Updater" from the Symantec website. It might do it for
you.

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Symantec AV Client CE can be set up to look to corporate servers for
updates. If these corporate servers haven't been updated, which seems
really odd, then you won't get any updates.

In cases like this you can manually update your definitions using
Intelligent Updater:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/defs.download.html

Select your language and product, click "Download Updaes." On the next
page download the .exe file (eg - 20050715-033-x86.exe) then run it.
