I update and run AVG daily. Today it's finding TROJANS in a folder
I've had on my computer for two weeks. It didn't find them before.

It is finding:
Trojan horse Generic.YZT
On the details, it says one is "Trojan horse PSW.Banker.25.S"
On the three others, it doesn't give any additional information.

I will kill these off.
QUESTIONS:
Why didn't AVG find these Trojans yesterday, or the day before, or
the day before that ...?
What is "Trojan horse Generic.YZT?"
I can guess that "Trojan horse PSW.Banker.25.S" is trying to find
my passwords for banking sites?

Any information and advice will be welcomed.

www.grisoft.com would be a good place to start.

Because AntiVirus software is "reactionary", it can only react to KNOWN
(for the most part) viruses. If something is unknown, it won't detect
it.

AVG, in my experience, is the worst at properly detecting new malware.

..put in Ewido for "malware" detection, leave AVG in for virus detection !

AVG is not good for detecting viruses, at least not new viruses. I've
had more residential/home users compromised while having
maintained/updated AVG software than ANY other anti-virus software.
