I have Norton Antivirus 2005 & Trend Micro PC-Cillin 2006 installed & updated.

Recently Norton gives an virus for the file tool2.exe it automatically
deleted it same done with pc-cillin.
But just after that norton gives an another virus alert for "TROJAN.GOLDUN"
for some .tmp file in "Windows\Temp\" folder & says that "Unable to repair
this file".
When I click ok button another pop-up for virus alert came for the same
virus "TROJAN.GOLDUN" but in the folder "C:\Program Files\Norton
Systemwoks\Norton Antivirus\Quarantime\Portal\" & says that "The file was
automatically deleted."

Every time I click ok button same process goes on and on, but evry time file
name was changed. I also followed all instructions given in the SYMANTEC we
site for manual removal of the virus but nothing happened.

Please help me out I am just dont know what to do.

Download MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL --
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe

To use this utility, perform the following...
Execute; Multi_AV.exe { Note: You must use the default folder C:\AV-CLS }
Choose; Unzip
Choose; Close

Execute; C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT
{ or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS }

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go
through your
FireWall to allow it to download the needed AV vendor related files.

C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT -- { or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS}
This will bring up the initial menu of choices and should be executed in Normal
Mode.
This way all the components can be downloaded from each AV vendor's web site.
The choices are; Sophos, Trend, McAfee, Kaspersky, Exit this menu and Reboot the
PC.

You can choose to go to each menu item and just download the needed files or you
can
download the files and perform a scan in Normal Mode. Once you have downloaded
the files
needed for each scanner you want to use, you should reboot the PC into Safe Mode
[F8 key
during boot] and re-run the menu again and choose which scanner you want to run
in Safe
Mode. It is suggested to run the scanners in both Safe Mode and Normal Mode.

When the menu is displayed hitting 'H' or 'h' will bring up a more comprehensive
PDF help
file. http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm

In addition to David's suggestion ,I advise to to remove one of the security
software you use.

You say you have Norton and Trend Micro and if you keep them BOTH permanent
it would be better to remove one of them and use only 1 with real-time
protection.

Having more than one security software ON may create a software conflict and
somehow the prevent the normal work on the other one. Not only me ,but also
Microsoft and all specialists recommend that.

Microsoft (R)
suggests 3 + 1 general steps how to protect
your PC and the infomation stored on it,
your privacy and your family
        1.Use an internet firewall
2.Enable Automatic Updates for your PC
        3.Use an antivirus software
        4.Use antispyware software

Check the Security Essentials for your OS and also have a look at all
sections!
