This is best explained with a screenshot. I just installed 1.4, and
chose for the first time to try its resident protection facility
called 'Tea Timer'. On running 1.4 I then changed a setting for
TeaTimer. (I removed the IE option; I use Firefox, which doesn't
appear to get mentioned in Spybot, but that's another subject). After
that, I then got into a sort of loop! The larger window is plainly
flawed. Clicking any of the options, including 'X' to close it, I keep
getting the smaller window briefly.

I had to force closure via WinXP TM.

Anyone else getting similar behaviour please?

Look into an updated video driver for your computer's video card and/or DirectX
9.0c ( WinXP
SP2 includes the latest version, DirectX v9.0c )

Thanks, but I've now learned of other Spybot 1.4 users experiencing
same problem. So it's a bug in Spybot.

Run with administrator privileges?
Report the possible bug to SpyBot Search&Destroy.
Use the SpyBot Search&Destroy forum when it is back up.
Ask for your money back.

It not Patrick's fault. It Borlands fault. They won't help him out
and won't even talk with him-ever through he is a enterprise customer.
Borland mad at spybot for web posting saying that they won't help. So
Borland became a baby and said I am not going talk to him anymore.

Patrick may have grounds for a lawsuit because Borland is possible
violating the enterprise agreement.

In the mean time. You can click with the mouse the little white box.
Hit the letter "A" on the keyboard for allow.
Hit the letter "D" on the keyboard for deny.
