If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I've been using Magic for several years, and recently had to change the
password on my earthlink account. If I use Magic, then it doesn't know the
new password, so I used the File menu item Password to set it to the new
password. It still balks. What's happening?

I don't know. Why would you post this question in a newsgroup about
viruses relating to MS Windows? Contact tech support for this Magic
program and ask them.
