No. It isn't completely isolated if there is any connection. It is most
certainly not securable if you are sharing a cable connection.
When I was working for a living, the only secure computers which had a
connection to the outside world were those with a dedicated line and
encryption equipment. A dedicated line is most assuredly not cheap.
