Joe, first of can the caps, not only is it considered shouting it is
extremely hard to read and some say rude. Secondly if I find your software
useful, I will consider donating but will also take into account your
begging here on the list. Also there are many many other sorces for the
smitfraudfix that you are touting and nearly demanding payment for, my first
choice will be to go to one of them if it ever slips by my panda titanium.

Jon sorry for the caps
I know what a problem people have had with this virus!
I am a Virus cracking student @ college, i spent hours on this virus!
,
smitfraudfix pay me very little for my work,( i sell to them ) most of
my work for this virus was spent in my own free time.
( it's no wonder some people like me go over to the other side and
create viruses ) and guess who has contacted me before to illegally
work for them?
I am a good person and i hope people feel safer to surf knowing there
are people like me fighting on the front line. i will never go over to
the dark side as long as people help me pay for hardware.
I'm hoping to work for smitfraudfix full time or Norton Antivirus
The donation is to sarahhancoxtrading for some computer hardware i need
to continue the fight!
Did you use the software i created ? did it work ? if so ( and i'm sure
it did )have that one on me JON its a £1 a bottle at the student bar
tonight so i will get by.

If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options 1) I did not now nor have I ever used or needed the fix, panda platinum does
a wonderful job. :)
2) you are not the only one with a fix for this issue, and the others do not
demand or at least whine about getting paid for it
3) if you wish to make viruses/malware etc best not say on this group. :)
The sort of "revenge" of which you speak is not sweet it is a knee jerk and
will not make you popular on this list.

Have recently had the same problem and used a number of programmes suggested
in other threads - none of which have helped. However, think I may have a
solution for the about:blank homepage in internet explorer - at least it
appears to have worked for me. It seems to be part of the safetydefender.com
redirection page that asks you to download their software - do not do this.
I'd suggest using Windows Defender to identify 2 processes linked to files
atmclk.exe and dcomcfg.exe - use defender to close these processes using
Software Explorers / Startup Programmes and delete the two files from your
c:/windows/system32 folder. Then reboot. Should work - let me know if this
helps. I may just have been lucky!
